ELIZA designs- A mission for fashion with passion.

Nature
Nature.

Elizabeth Olaoye is a fashion designer based in U.K. London. As the creative director for ELIZA designs she is if anything passionate about her creative talent.

Elizabeth began from dress making for herself, to gaining popularity from followers. As her brand grew, she has maintained one key collection per year with occasional custom made styles added to the collection throughout the year.

ELIZA’S ethos is to be glam, have fun, feel brand new, and get funky.

Elizabeth states that her brand supports a timeless, fun, sexy, confident and unique woman. Perhaps this is the ultimate millennial creative. Glamorous without apology.

Elizabeth doesn’t want to be pigeonholed as a conventional fashion designer. She wants her pieces to be worn with lasting memory. “A special timeless ensemble that makes you happy when you think about when you last wore it. This is definitely ELIZA‘s signature. Glam Glam Glam“.

Elizabeth says “what inspires me when creating my collections is being in tune with a mindset.“ Elizabeth’s inspiration stems from travelling, meeting people, attending museums and exhibitions, films and music. This is by far not an exhaustive list. Everything is a thought process. Elizabeth finds the collection creates itself around inspiration and she evolves around it by finding textiles, shapes, fabrics and illustrative drawings. Elizabeths biggest inspiration is nature.

Elizabeth does not simply just design clothes and show at the fashion industry during the two orthodox Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter seasons. She designs clothes with a reason for them to exist. She builds around her labels ethos. For Elizabeth, it isn’t about being trend focused or tapping into the prevailing mood of the fashion times; her collections are all part of a Glam continuum.

Elizabeth accepts her challenges as a female entrepreneur and fashion designer, merely with obstacles to be overcome. They are part of her growth and development.
Elizabeth is dedicated passionately to her craft and her mission is to explore and express how wide the talent of design can be and take her. She concedes that this current information technology era gives exploring and adventure a platform.

Elizabeth‘s career highlight was being interviewed by Zac Posen The American fashion designer. But her biggest highlight was creating ELIZA branded palaeontology lab coats for children at a zoo in Dublin, whilst they studied the history of fossils.

Elizabeth’s dedication to the environment and nature goes to show young aspiring fashion designers all that is possible in the creative fashion world of design today.
